My Name is Brock Sykes, and i'm running to be your next Southern Region Vice-President

 I am a three-term Association Officer for Louisiana DECA and currently serving as the Louisiana DECA Vice President of Marketing and Communications. I’m a junior at University View Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I’ve been an active DECA member for the past three years. My love and passion for DECA started during my freshman year when I decided to run for Association Office. Over the years, not only have I grown as a member, but I’ve also fallen in love with everything DECA has to offer.

My favorite parts about DECA are the opportunities to network, travel, and build life-long connections with like-minded members. During my time as an Association Officer, I’ve worked hard to make a lasting impact within my Association, which has inspired me to pursue the next step—running for Executive Office.

I’m eager to bring my years of experience and leadership to the Southern Region. My goal as the next Southern Region Vice President is to create an environment of continuous learning, growth, and expansion where members can thrive. I’m ready to make an impact that’s bigger than myself and help shape the future of DECA for the better.
